33 hours of journey.. What can I say.. Never ever ever again will go by Bus! And don’t suggest to anyone to go (If it is longer than 10 hours). Maybe only if you are able to sleep in the half sitting position  with hot-cold temperature and you don’t care about how long it will take you to get home. For me that was the worse journey till now.. Bus late for 2 hours, terrible roads with lots of snow and 3 times changing the train to get from Munich to Bolzano..Mamma mia.. I came home so tired as I would work hardly 12 hours without stopping..

The only one thing that makes me happy that today in my lovely Lithuania was -19  -23 degrees and loooots of snow, so I left really on time And definitely I am happy to be back to BZ, surely here for me are waiting a lot of jobs to do, exams to pass, but.. after some work comes also some rest

Happy New Year 2009! Hope this one will be better than last one So the year 2008 is gone, and could be a good time for a short resume of it. Let’s see… In the world: economical crisis, new war actions, new president of USA, shoes flying to the Bush’s face, Russians finally won Eurovision. In Lithuania: government election, what made show-business people to be responsible for goodness of the country, cosmic heating prices (and not only), new excise duties, growing unemployment, paid studies if your average is less than “8”. I really tried to find something positive..for now found only one thing - The white Christmas..Difficult.. So how this year was for me? I would say also kind of difficult, especially psychologically and full of different events. First exams in English in my life, going back to LT and adapting there again, writing and defending bachelor thesis and inally finishing Vilnius University, enrolling for Master studies in Italy and getting there , new job in foreign country, getting my parents shocked and leaving LT for longer time plus all this was accompanied with some problems in personal life. Hmm.. After adapting in the new job (to speak German wasn’t easy), learning Italian, new University, new people, new friends, a bit of traveling. That’s a lot.. Something was good, something had also bad outcome.. But at the end I have to say that all this was good life experience no matter what.. I learned a lot and got more grown up .. So what’s the plan for New Year? Actually no plans at all.. Planning it’s not the thing that I usually do, since it always goes in totally different way J so what’s the point then J Only two things I wish I could make this year , to become more organized (all the tries till now went wrong..) and to visit Spain..

Finally, after long 23 hours journey I got home.. Strange feeling..Seems like I would not even go away at all.. Because actually nothing really changed here in these 6 months, maybe just some new traffic-lights and roads in the city J (what is not that bad..). Christmas this year also did not feel like Christmas, maybe because I came home only on early morning 24th of December and did not have time to get this all “Christmas Spirit” flying around, don’t know. Just everything was to fast somehow, and also people in LT are not so obsessed with this all Christmas thing this year, since economical crisis feels here much more than in Italy, and that erases smiles from the faces and makes holidays not so nice as always, anyway..

For sure the best thing was to meet my all friends again, especially my best friend. I was happy to spend some days with them, to remember our “old good times” and again to do the things that we always do together. Coffee in the center of Vilnius, playing bouling and finally drinking Lithuanian beer, traditionally making wish in the “Katedros aikste” , dancing the whole night in the good night club, going to the cinema or just talking for hours.. That’s all is the feeling of real home and from one side 10 days here were to less, from other side I understood one more time that the choice to leave LT and to stay some time in Italy was the right one.. Here is good, but to tell truth I already missed BZ. Strange, I know, but probably after this time that I spent there, Bolzano became also at some point as home, so for now I am really looking forward to come back…

I do not know what is happening to me, but in last days I started really to miss home.. First time in 5 months that I am here, I got this feeling.. Missing everything: family, friends, my little doggy, house, and even at this time cold and rainy , still a bit “gold” because of the leaves my city- Vilnius..

The best thing now would be to have a walk in Uzupis or my favorite Pilies street.. ,drink a cup of hot tee with my best friend in the cute, small caffeteria in Senamiestis and after go to our favorite cinema to see the newest movie. Uff, I so miss all that..

For sure I like it here in Bolzano, but home will be always home whenever and whatever it is..

Already can’t wait when will go back home for Christmas..~1.5 months..

Yesterday had a lot of fun, and still feel a bit tired today Was my first”Bad Taste Party” here in Bolzano. And I can tell thats was one of the best parties in Bolzano at all. As said my friend: “party with bad dressed people and bad music”, but in good sence actually.  We all (or almost all) looked kind of strange at least for the people that we were passing in the street. Imagine passing the group of the people dressed in the most not possible combinations of colors and clothes, like nice suit and the diving glasses for example :), probably I would be surprised also. Anyway such dresses just helped to keep the party more fun, as you can see from the pictures on my picasa

yeeeeeeeeee!!! I finally went to visit city that I always wanted to see -  Rome.. The most spontaneous  trip in my life. After stepping up from the train seemed that we came some thousands years back, the buildings, big palaces, monuments everywhere, the grand Colloseum (or that what is still alive till today), Forum, Palatino, Fontana di Trevi, Panteon, Vatican and thousands hunderts other things to see. Felt like in the fairytale..

We spent 3 days trying to see everything what was possible in that short time,  coming home tired as never but soo happy and satisfied.. Even the longest queue to the Vatican museums did not change our good mood And then dinner in the piazza Campo di Fiori, big big ice cream for desert and the long walk. What can be better? Rome even did not want to let us go. First we did not get the tickets for the direct train and then first time in life missed another train, were late only  1 minute, arghh… But there is nothing

bad that would note become something good, so we ended our trip eating Pasta alla Blogonese in Bologna

Nostra bella Domenica sera.. Heh one of the evenings when we all finally are at home (what happends not so offen actually ), even more then all, because we have some guests in our appartamet Evening started nice with the “broken” washing mashine and half a kitchen of water, what could be better on Sunnday evening. Fortunately after about  hour of cleaning and moving things in the kitchen back and forward nostro piccolo problema was solved, uff.. Then came the nice dinner with ordered pizza, beer, olives and talks in italian, yess since tomorrow italian language becomes an official language in our appartamet i have to start to get use to it.. Does not seem to be easy, but.. Thats the new rules!

Today i remembered again why I  do not like autumn so much. Definetely because of such gray days like today, when sun does not smile  anymore from the sky, leaves are falling down, everyone looks tired and cheerless and only one thing that is missing in this “nice” picture is rain. In such days in my head is only one thought: to stay in my warm bed with a cup of hot hot tee, sweet chocolate good book or as well sweet movie and not go out at all.. But still there is a work, studies and hundert of other things that we have to do not depending on weather.. and dream of staying at home has to wait for better times, as always.. Should be in this world the place where is no autumn and it is possible to live normally.. If someone knows, tell me please and I will definetely move there
